Cerebral Palsy Program

Overview

A strength training session for people with cerebral palsy. This program is suitable for people who can use gym equipment with the support of a carer, including upper and/or lower limbs movement.

What happens in a session?

Our gym instructor will supervise the session, and alongside your carer will support you to do strength exercises using our gym equipment.

How do I join?

You must have an initial assessment with one of our instructors. Our instructor will build you an individual program to meet your health goals. You can book an assessment with our gym instructors by giving us a call on 9205 5522 or by visiting us at reception.

You must bring a referral from a health professional to your assessment.
A carer must attend every session with you.

When is the program?

The Cerebral Palsy Program is offered at Richmond Recreation Centre on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 1.15pm.

How much does a session cost?

Classes are casual. There is no contract and you do not need to be a member to attend. Each session costs $11.50 (full price) or $6.90 (concession). The initial assessment is a one-time cost of $47.30.
