Come and Try Disc Golf at Lewis Park

Disc Golf is a new, yet increasingly popular, intergenerational recreational pursuit which appeals to people of all ages and abilities. It combines the skills of Frisbee and the gameplay of Golf, where a disc is thrown from a “tee” towards a target known as the “hole”, which in this case is an elevated metal basket. Council has a trial site at Lewis Park and will be hosting a FREE ‘Come and Try’ day on Saturday 29 May, where community members can have a go and learn about the sport from Disc Golf instructors. Discs will be provided for use on the day, and numbers are strictly limited and bookings essential, so book now.
