Living Longer Living Stronger™ has an updated logo and an updated program that better supports older Australians – doing the activities they love!

Strength training means using weights – like hand weights, machines or just your own body weight – to build muscle strength and endurance. The Living Longer Living Stronger  program delivers both strength and balance training to enable you to stay active and independent as you age.


The Living Longer Living Stronger program is about:
•    preventative health
•    restoring and building health
•    individualising your exercise program to work with your abilities and your challenges
•    creating social communities and connections
•    being inclusive of all older people


COTA Victoria’s Living Longer Living Stronger partners across Victoria to provide strength training programs specifically for older people, with:
•    programs tailored to your needs and abilities through initial and ongoing assessments
•    fully qualified and committed instructors
•    a safe, supportive environment – that is FUN!
•    at least two group sessions available each week - at a low cost
•    an opportunity to socialise over a cup of tea or coffee after each session
