Freedom Wheels is a state-wide cycling service for people of all ages living with disability.
Freedom Wheels is a state-wide cycling service for people of all ages living with disability. Our team of occupational therapists specialise in assistive technology for sport and recreational activities, and work one-on-one with each rider to help them achieve their goals. Our free assessments ensure everyone has the opportunity to ride a bike.
Each Freedom Wheels bike is built to each individual's height and weight, as well as physical and cognitive abilities. Our customised bikes and supports give children and adults with disability the confidence and freedom to ride a bike. Our therapy team also offers skills training packages to ensure each rider has the skills they need to safely ride a bike.
Freedom Wheels customised bikes and training packages are covered under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
