"I like having a girls team sport for her to participate in. The program was a great pace for the girls - it was great new skills giving them practice of hand eye coordination. But the best thing was your (the coaches) enthusiasm and energy!"- feedback from previous TriBall participants's parent.

What is Lacrosse?

Lacrosse is a team sport that combines the skills required to play football, netball and hockey. BUT it is played in the air! The object of the game is to score more goals than the other team. To do this, teammates throw, catch, carry and shoot the ball with a lacrosse stick.

Benefits of Lacrosse

Lacrosse provides a range of physical and mental benefits. It allows players to develop their motor skills through focusing on throwing and catching with a stick. It also improves cardiovascular fitness, strength, speed, and agility. Best of all, lacrosse provides a great social environment where players and their parents can make new and lifelong friends.

Currently funded by VicHealth to develop the program and after successfully trialling 'TriBall Lacrosse' at Carlton Baths, the skills of catching, throwing and scooping are now being offered in Stawell, with plans to deliver come and try opportunities across Victoria.
