Mentoring | Arts Access Victoria

Arts Access Victoria connects Deaf and Disabled artists with mentors to achieve individual artistic goals. Mentoring is a one–on–one relationship to support career development at all levels and across all artforms. The aim is to discover how to ‘do the right things’ to progress along your particular professional pathway.

Intereach

Community Links support people with disability, or people with mental health conditions who are not receiving funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and who may require support to link to their local community or apply for NDIS support.

Living Socials

Living Socials

Offers supported adventures for people with a mild to moderate disability, aged between 18-35. These adventures include anything from a day at the beach to weekends away, or group dinners, and aim to enable young people with disabilities to make new connections while reaching their goals.

Carer Gateway

Carer Gateway provides in-person, phone and online services and support to Australia’s 2.65 million unpaid carers. By calling 1800 422 737 Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm, you can talk to a Carer Gateway service provider who will help you access services and support.

We are a not-for-profit, government funded, Disability Employment Service with 13 offices across Melbourne. We assist those with disability to find suitable work including pre-employment such as resume writing and mock interviews, contacting local employers and advocating on behalf of our participants. Once our participants start work we continue to support them for as long as they need it.
